You can't choose the hair you're born with. But you can choose how you make it better.
When it comes to getting hair extensions, the biggest dilemma - after finding the perfect extensions (a Sitting Pretty Halo, duh) - is deciding how much length and volume you want.
Let's look at why some girls, like Jordan Simek, decide to have both!
Why I Have Two Halo Hair Extensions [Video Tutorial]In this article
You can't choose the hair you're born with. But you can choose how you make it look.
When it comes to getting hair extensions, the biggest dilemma - after finding the perfect hair extensions - is deciding how much length and volume you want.
It's like:
Yeah, I want more volume, obviously. But now that the choice is mine do I want a few inches of length too? Or should I keep my hair length and just make it thicker? Orrrr do I want mermaid hair?
Ughhhh. Decisions suck.
Especially decisions that involve commitment. Like committing to cutting your halo hair extensions.
It's why some girls, like Jordan Simek, decide they want both.
Halo hair extensions for length and volume:
Here, Jordan Simek explains why she has two Sitting Pretty Halo Hair Extensions and how she wears them.
Jordan wears the FINE halo and THICK halo, both in 20 inches and in color Beige Blonde/Dark Blonde 613/10. (Update: We also have 16 inch halo hair extensions, for girls with shorter hair)

[Full transcript]
Hey guys it's Jordi, and for those who know me or follow me, know that I love my extensions.
I've been working with Sitting Pretty for quite some time now, and I cannot recommend them more.
I am a lucky enough to be working with these guys on a whole youtube series showing you the ins and outs of how I use my extensions.
Today I'll be showing you a little bit about how I got my extensions, what I did to them, whether I use them for length or volume.
I have two different types.
So I've got with thick ones that I'm wearing now, but I also have the fine extensions.
These are the ones that I use on a daily basis. I'm going to be showing you later on how I curl these bad boys because I get questions on these all the time.
So all of the Sitting Pretty extensions are 100% ProGrade Remy Hair.
When you actually get your extensions, they're all going to be either 16 or 20 inches long so will probably you need to get them cut in, and it really depends on what kind of look you want.
You don't necessarily always have to get for length. I have length in my THICK halo, more for a glamorous look if I'm going to events or if I'm going out with the girls or if I just want to look a little more extra.
But when it comes to my FINE halo, I have it matched to the length of my hair, just for volume.
It's a really good everyday look.
Your hair just looks, almost Victoria's Secret-esque.
It's really really nice when you have these extra extensions in, that little bit more hair makes the world of a difference.
Now if you're thinking of investing in some extensions, I really recommend you going for Sitting Pretty extensions, only because it's a halo and it does not damage your hair.
There's no drama of the beads and the weaves and the mess of the glue and all that kind of rubbish.
The best thing about these extensions is that they look so natural.
So whenever I'm wearing them, I without a doubt get comments on how beautiful my hair looks.
And it's all thanks to Sitting Pretty because half of it's not even my real hair!
And no one notices.
Every time I say "I'm wearing extensions" they're like "oh my gosh I wouldn't have even guessed."
I don't know about you guys, but when I was younger in high school extensions were considered... like they were trendy but they were tacky.
And I never personally went for them because whenever I saw them on people they always looked out of place.
The person's natural hair would just come off and it was almost mullet looking.
Sitting Pretty have created these beautiful extensions, where it's the strip extensions but they're connected by a wire.
If you can see that right there, it's a really thin fishing wire, if you can see that.
They've got two hooks, like you would on your bra or something like that.
When you're fitting your extensions, you've got all these little loops at the end of each end of the halo.
And this will adjust depending on the circumference of your head, and you just need to play around and feel around with what you actually like and how you feel.
It's better to have a halo firm so it sits nicely on your head.
Otherwise it's gonna feel like it's falling off and sliding all over the place.
Now with my extension, they're straight now, but I'm going to show you how I curl my extensions and then I'm going to show you how to put them in.
And it's super, super easy.

So as you may have noticed in my previous little video, I was curling all of the extension curls towards the middle of the extension piece.
Because it's going to be at the back of your head, and you want all your curls to be facing outwards.
It's going to frame your face really nicely, instead of having all the curls caving in on your face and not framing it at all.
So before we start you want to start with a really nice even part in the middle of your head.
Now once you've done that you want to take about an inch from your forehead and part your hair to the back of your head.
Now there's a little bone here, and I kind of go underneath that.
From there, bring all of your hair up like so, and tie it just so it's out of the way.
Once you've done that you want to grab your extension piece.
Swing it around over the top of all that hair, and slide it to the back of your hair so it sits like that.
Alright, take it out [the tied up hair] and we're pretty much done!
So what you're gonna do is just brush all that hair out and down, making sure that the hair is sitting over the extensions.
Then to finish it off, use your comb and see where that wire is?
You basically want to comb up all the excess hair to create that really smooth, seamless to finish on the hair. Now this is a major step of the finishing touches to having your halo looking really seamless, because then it aligns really well with the grain of your hair.
And you will not actually be able to tell that you have extensions in.
Alright, so that's that.
And that's my little tutorial done!
Super easy, super quick.
The best thing about these extensions is that because there's no clips everywhere, you don't have to worry about when the wind flies every direction that these little clips are going to be shown.
It's just a little wire.
It doesn't move.
It's going to look super natural.
No one's going to notice that you're wearing extensions.
And to just remove them all you have to do is grab the two little ends here and pop them off.
Thank you guys for watching this video, I hope you guys enjoyed every minute I had to show you.
I can't wait to show you what else I have in store for you!
Still wondering which length to cut your halo hair extensions?
When you're thinking about getting a halo, it can be tricky to choose whether you want natural volume, or extra length too.
If you've got fine hair and you're needy for more volume, the FINE halo is a great option.
If you want a little or a lot of extra length, a MEDIUM or THICK halo will give you longer locks.
And if you can't decide? Why not have both? 😏
Even better, we have Sitting Pretty Gift Cards, so you can get your mumma, boyfriend, girlfriend, besties, cousins, seconds cousins, neighbour or local dog walker to buy your SP halo for you.
