Sitting Pretty extensions are made from 100% Pro-Grade Remy human hair ethically sourced from a single donor for  the highest quality and consistency available. “Remy” means all strands have their cuticles intact and aligned in the same direction, keeping the hair silky, smooth, and tangle-free. “Pro-Grade” ensures the hair is long-lasting, salon-quality, and can be styled, washed, and worn just like your own hair —  blending so seamlessly it looks flawless even in photos.

We offer a free color match service to help you find your perfect shade. Simply upload a photo of your hair in natural light, and our experts will recommend the best match from our range of multi-dimensional shades. You can also order swatches to compare at home—we recommend holding the swatch to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair for the most accurate match.

Length

• For the most natural blend, choose a halo length close to your own hair. Short hair pairs best with 12", medium hair with 16", and long hair with 20". Going too long or too short can look uneven — matching your length gives the best results.

Thickness

• Fine - Perfect if you have thin or fine hair, or if you just want a little extra volume for everyday wear. It’s lightweight and adds natural fullness that blends in effortlessly.
• Medium - Our most popular density because it blends seamlessly with so many hair types. It’s easy to wear and has just the right amount of volume.
• Thick – Designed for naturally fuller hair, or if you want bigger volume that still feels natural and comfortable.

Yes — your Sitting Pretty Halo is designed to fit securely without the wire ever showing. Each halo comes with 7 nylon wire sizes for the perfect fit, and the wire can be easily adjusted or replaced if needed. Once applied correctly, it sits hidden under your hair and stays comfortably in place all day without slipping.

Your halo should sit about an inch back from your hairline, with the wire resting comfortably around the crown of your head and the hair sitting flat at the back. The sides should tuck just above your ears, so it feels snug but never tight. When fitted properly, it won’t slip or fall — even with regular movement.

It might feel a little different at first, but our halos are so lightweight and comfortable that most people forget they’re wearing one within minutes. And if you’re planning on dancing the night away or moving around a lot, we include optional clips for extra security. Once you’ve found your ideal wire size, your halo will feel natural, comfortable, and secure.

Yes — our halos are designed to suit a wide range of hair types. When it first arrives, it may look thin, but once you wet (not wash) and let it dry, it expands up to 3x thicker for natural fullness and layering.

For thin or fine hair, our halos were made for you — the band sits low so your own hair covers it easily, and finer ends blend beautifully with halo ends.

For thick hair, it depends on your cut and length goals. If you have very thick, blunt-cut hair and want to go much longer, it may not blend perfectly. But if you’re only adding a few inches and cut in some layers, it’ll blend seamlessly.

Absolutely. While the halo is designed to sit low and blend best with your hair down or half-up styles, you can still create ponytails, buns, and soft updos with a few styling tricks to keep the wire hidden.

Yes, they can be cut, curled, straightened, and styled just like your own. We recommend taking them to a professional stylist for trimming or layering rather than cutting at home, and always using heat protectant with low to medium heat to keep them looking their best.

We only recommend toning your halo one to two shades darker, never lighter (no bleaching). Because each halo is made from premium Remy hair that has already undergone color processing, results can vary and may not be consistent.

If you decide to tone your halo, we strongly recommend taking it to a professional stylist rather than doing it at home. For this reason, Sitting Pretty cannot take responsibility for halos that have been colored.

To keep your halo looking its best, we recommend gentle care. Wash only when needed (every 15–20 wears) with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. After washing, the hair texture may change slightly — this is completely normal. Simply rehydrate it with your favorite nourishing products, like lightweight serums, to restore softness and shine to restore softness and shine. Always detangle with a wide-tooth comb before and after wear, let your halo air dry whenever possible, and store it in the box or on a hanger to maintain its shape and smoothness.

You can exchange your Sitting Pretty Halo within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as it’s in its original, unused condition. The halo must remain secured in its protective net and twist tie, and include all original packaging and accessories. You may open the box to check the colour match, but the halo itself cannot be removed from the net or worn.

To start an exchange, simply contact us with your order details. Please note that return postage is the customer’s responsibility (we recommend using tracked shipping and keeping proof of postage). Once we receive and inspect your halo, we’ll process your exchange if it meets all requirements.

For hygiene and product integrity reasons, Sitting Pretty Halos are non-returnable once removed from their protective net. This means we cannot accept exchanges or returns if the halo has been:

• Removed from the protective net or twist tie
• Styled, cut, trimmed, washed, coloured, or toned
• Worn or shows any signs of use

We allow you to open the box to check your colour match, but the halo must remain secured in its net and original packaging to qualify for an exchange. This policy ensures that every halo we ship is 100% new, safe, and salon-quality.

Customs fees or import duties may apply on international orders, depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are set by local customs authorities and are the customer’s responsibility.
